Michael Morgenshtern


Michael Morgenshtern was born in Moscow, Russia in 1955.
In 1975 he graduated from the Higher Institute of Art in Moscow.
In 1978-1990 he participated in many Russian and international exhibitions.
Beginning in 1979 (at first in Russia and then in Israel) he created numerous artifacts in applied arts (stained-glass windows, mosaics, frescos, sculptures, and murals).
In 1989 Michael became a member of Union of Painters in USSR (the section of Graphic Arts).
Lives in Israel since 1991.
He is a member of International Association of Painters and Sculptors.
In 1992 Michael received the First Prize in the Israel Painters Competition “Ish-Shalom”.
In 1991-2003 he participated in numerous exhibitions in Israel, USA, Canada, and Germany.
Married, has a daughter, six grandsons and a dog.
